Slow and steady addition is the name of the game in this series, which teaches 1-to-10 countingwith insects. Just pick your poison: ants, bees, butterflies, or ladybugs. The backdrop of each left-hand-page illustration remains static, while each page turn adds to it another creepy-crawly. So, in the case of Counting Ants 1-2-3, a yummy-looking birthday cake looks quite a bit less appetizing by the end. No sentences here, just numerals and words ("7 - seven ants") to make each numerical increase crystal clear., Book Links May 2012
