Molly and Ben are bouncing on the couch listening to music. Their dad comes in and tells them to stop jumping on the couch. They continue. Molly falls off the couch and lands on her crown, which breaks. Dad comes in and wants to take Molly and Ben to the store. He encourages Molly to bring her crown with her. Molly tells a lie about how it was broken. Dad, of course, sees through the lie and tells her that he is more upset about the lying than the fact that she broke her crown. The conflict resolves quickly with apologies and hugs. Molly is depicted as a bunny and Ben is a bear in cartoon-like illustrations that will appeal to very young children. This book is part of the Character Education with Super Ben and Molly the Great series. This book is mainly to teach students about being honest.
