Oliver Carter arrives in Boston in 1773 with the simple plan to work for Dr. Benjamin Church. However, the American colonists had grown tired of British tyranny and Boston was the center of rebellious activity. When Oliver Carter comes to work for Dr. Benjamin Church, he already has something to hide. Oliver is a patriot and is being pursued by a British officer who is determined to maintain Britains control over the colonies. He tries to do his best for Dr. Church, but in Boston it is impossible for Oliver to avoid the cause of the rebels. Dr. Church is working for the cause of liberty, and Oliver offers his support. Others working with Dr. Church put Oliver to work, but Oliver manages to intercept a message that indicates Dr. Church is a spy for the British. When Oliver goes to Paul Revere with his suspicions, he is asked to help trap the doctor, but doing so will likely put his own life in danger.
