All About Opposites" is a new series that offers very basic information, often using only the two words from the title of the book. The image on the book's cover of the front and the back of a rabbit establishes the format for this book. It follows the same pattern as Day and Night, except in this title most of the pairings are animals. The closing pages feature a young girl who looks like a fairy princess. Again the animals are not identified, but they should be familiar to most adults who would be using this title with a child. For example, there is a cat, rabbit and dog. The closing pages do offer some amusement with a rabbit in a hat, which unfortunately may go right over the heads of young readers. The book closes with references that are reasonably current, links to two websites and an index. The book is identified as Guided Reading level "A" with the word count of ten., Children's Literature
