Ben and Molly go on a picnic in the park. Ben has a cookie in his lunch. Molly wants some, but Ben wont share. Then a friend comes along riding a new bike. She lets Ben take a turn riding it. Then another friend comes and is playing with a ball. He lets Molly and Ben join in playing with the ball, too. Bens cookie slips out of his pocket. Its broken. He thinks about what he should do. He realizes his friends have shared with him, so he shares his cookie. Molly is depicted as a bunny, and Ben is a bear in cartoon-like illustrations that will appeal to very young children. This book is part of the Character Education with Super Ben and Molly the Great series. This book is mainly to teach students about sharing. The text is easy to read and could be read independently by a beginning reader.
