The Father of Geometry
As we know so little about the man named Euclid, our best understanding of him is through his work. By studying his books of the Elements and their concepts, we can discover a little about how Euclid thought. We may never know if Euclid had any descendants, but we do know his legacy of the Elements and its value to mathematics.

This is a solid history of Euclid written on a level suitable for middle school students. Thc book starts out with a short section about Euclids life before diving into his mathematics. The work of Euclid is presented in modern mathematical terms. The book also goes into the origins of plane geometry, number theory, and then solid geometry.
